I am reading the book , Scars of Sweet Paradise , the life and times of Janis Joplin by Alice Echols . I recommend it , I know her better and love her more , Now . I grew up listing to her blues songs and voice back in the 60's when I was a teenager , and she will live forever .

But you see that Janis is holding back memories of how others have treated her for being less. It's really clear to see here. She's really in awe of Welches beauty. Interessanter Weise ist Raquel Welch drei Jahre älter als sie. Es gibt wenige Menschen, die ich so innig liebe wie Janis Joplin. Odd title. And i didn't watch this video. I watched Johnny Carson and was so excited that Janis Joplin was going to be on the show. Janis came on, did a great job, of course. Then she went to sit and chat with Johnny. Then Raquel came on and did her mean girl thing with Janis. Of course, this was what Janis had already lived through in her growing up years in Texas. And then, to have this happen on her one great moment, being on Johnny Carson. My heart broke for her, and i have hated Raquel Welch ever since. It was terrible what she did to Janis. RIP Janis ❤️❤️❤️

I saw her play at Irvine College in California my first year of college. She was AWESOME. She let all the kids our side come in. You are right, She got thrown into a sea of sharks. To beautiful inside and had a big heart.😢 So glad I got to see her sing!!!❤❤❤
